A COMPUTERISED SYSTEM

to assist HEALTH AUTHORITIES

in the REGISTRATION AND INSPECTION of

NURSING AND DUAL REGISTERED HOMES

SUPPORTED BY

The Registered Homes Act 1984 places statutory obligations on district health authorities concerning the registration and inspection of private nursing homes.

The number of homes is constantly increasing and the workload is growing for officers responsible for monitoring standards under the 1984 Act.

NURSING HOME REGISTRATION is an efficient and user friendly computerised system designed specifically to assist Registration and Inspection Officers in the day-to-day monitoring of patient care in the nursing home sector.

A principal feature of NURSING HOME REGISTRATION is its comprehensive, easy-to-use database. This is combined with built-in expert guidance on the Registered Homes Act 1984 and the Nursing Homes and Mental Nursing Homes Regulations 1984 based on the NAHAT Handbook on the Registration and Inspection of Nursing Homes - including the 1988 supplement - the definitive text on the subject.
